The Carol Milgard Breast Center is committed to providing patient-centered care that includes a focus on respect for individual patients, providing a caring and comforting atmosphere, a facility with leading-edge technology, and hiring radiologists and technologists who specialize in high-quality breast imaging that leads to excellent patient care.

The American College of Radiology (ACR) has recognized the Carol Milgard Breast Center as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. The ACR only grants the gold seal of accreditation when a breast center provides patients the highest level of imaging quality and patient safety. We are accredited in all of the ACR’s programs including mammography, breast ultrasound, ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, stereotactic breast biopsy and breast MRI.

The breast center has voluntarily participated in this rigorous review process to assure we meet nationally accepted standards. Our patients can be confident that our staff is well qualified, through both education and certification, to perform and interpret their medical images. Our patients can also be assured that our equipment is appropriate for the test or treatment they receive and our breast center meets or exceeds quality assurance and safety guidelines.
