Consistent with our focus on quality care, the Carol Milgard Breast Center is dedicated to providing you with exceptional breast imaging services available by using the most technologically advanced equipment operated by the most highly trained medical professionals and board-certified radiologists in the region.
All of the Center’s staffing is provided by TRA Medical Imaging, one of the region’s premiere medical imaging practices.
Radiologists
Radiologists are physicians who continue their education following medical school with special training using radiology and ultrasound in medical diagnoses and therapeutic procedures. TRA’s radiologists serving the Carol Milgard Breast Center are board certified by the American Board of Radiology, and have sub-specialized in breast imaging and digital mammography.

Technologists/sonographers
All technologists at the Carol Milgard Breast Center meet or exceed minimum standards for their area of specialty. X-ray technologists, for example, graduate from a two-year accredited school that includes an x-ray internship in a clinical setting and a written exam as well as registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Mammographers, and MRI technologist must have advanced cross training in a clinical setting and be certified in their specialty.
