What to Expect

While you are at the Carol Milgard Breast Center, you will experience a safe, comfortable and respectful environment with soft plush robes, private lockers, and a soothing setting. 

For your ultrasound-guided breast biopsy appointment, you should plan on being in the center for a couple of hours, which will include all pre- and post-procedure care. The procedure itself will take about 15 minutes. 

The Carol Milgard Breast Center works with many partner organizations throughout the community to reduce financial and other barriers that may prevent our patients from receiving the care they need. Sometimes it becomes overwhelming for patients to find the information they are looking for.
